One of the video game projects that I work on, Runes of Magic, is what's called a "massively-multiplayer online role-playing game, or MMORPG for short. If you don't know what that is, it's like World of Warcraft. I recently took a look at Google's "translator toolkit." This is their translation memory tool made for translators. The idea is that many translators will contribute and share many many many translations thus making it easier for the translators to do their jobs while improving Google's translation tools at the same time.
